Family Resource Incorporates Four Key

Practices to Nurture Christian Faith

The “Taking Faith Home” devotional series is a new resource for families, couples, individuals, and the congregation.

The “Taking Faith Home” inserts incorporate the Four Key Faith Practices that are the foundation to any other faith practices the church uses to nurture the Christian faith. They are:

  • Caring Conversations: These conversation starters provide meaningful reflection on Bible texts and our daily lives.
  • Devotions: Being devoted to God’s word serves as a foundation for practicing the presence of God and blessing you with faith, hope, and love.
  • Service: Christ tells us to serve others. By living the faith in love, we learn the value and joy of the Christian faith.
  • Rituals and Traditions: Symbolic action grounded in the Christian tradition throughout the year provide a beautiful and holistic way of experiencing the grace of God.

Adult Inquirer’s Class (Pastor's Class): This is a basic Bible Study of the beliefs of our church and can lead to membership through adult confirmation. The class is offered each spring and fall.

Women's Bible Study: Currently studying the Book of Acts. All women are welcome - Tuesday, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in room 144; Friday, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Music Practice room.
