Curriculum and Standards

To support our mission of providing a quality education, our school sets high goals for its faculty and its curriculum. We adopt new textbooks based on a six-year cycle that follows state proficiency guidelines. Textbooks and other resources are carefully reviewed and chosen, well-organized, systematic, up-to-date, and research-based. 

The curriculum emphasizes basic skills, concepts, and processes in religion, word recognition, comprehension, writing, mathematics computation and problem solving, science, history, geography and fine arts.

Students study choral music and participate in physical education and extracurricular sports. Students are introduced to and may choose instruction in instrumental music and strings. Technology, problem-solving, critical thinking, and study skills are integrated across the curriculum.
